Do you recognize fans - their names on Twitter, or faces?
JA: I do. sometimes I know a name on twitter and then I meet that person and put it together who it is and my mind is blown. a lot of times my family will refer I people as their twitter names --- like "did you see what so so and so said"
Funniest prank you’ve ever done while on tour?
JA: duct taped someone into their bunk. it's a classic
Do you prefer the current digital recording technology or the sound of old analog equipment?
JA: I love a mixture of both. that's what strange desire is all about. something interesting happens when you put synth and programming on top of super organic guitars and vocals. I just love it. feels like a version of the future I can deal with.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
JA: Christopher walken. also- same birthday.
If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be?
JA: my dog lamby or mint tea or classic pinkberry flavor
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? + why?
JA: Aladdin. so scrappy. so positive.
Where do you buy your rad outfits?
JA: first off. thanks!
JA: they're a mixture of things I buy new and stuff I find in my house from the 90s. I've saved all of my clothes through the years and I always go back and make things work again. at the moment I'm very into looking like a hot girl in the 90s. or my interpretation of what that is.
Favorite apps you use to entertain yourself? And please, remember - there could be children reading this
JA: there's a race car game that's like crack to me. once I start the afternoon disappears. it's pathetic. my favorite though is keezy. it's like a mini MPC I use to make beats of noises my friends make.
What do you miss the most about the 90s?
JA: how connected we all were by music

JA: can't tell you yet.
